Prime Minister Rt. Hon. Robinah Nabbanja met a delegation from Kagadi District led by Woman MP Hon. Margaret Naziiwa Rujumba to discuss on key service delivery issues affecting Kagadi District.
The delegation raised concerns over service delivery, including poor road network, lack of wage bill, hospital upgrade, power extension and environmental protection.
The Premier took note of the concerns and pledged to follow up for improved service delivery in the district.
The meeting was also attended by RDC Caroline Muyambi Nashemeza, LCV Chairperson Ellyguard Tumusiime, District Speaker Vincent Semuga, Kagadi Town Mayor Kasaija Mugenyi, and other district leaders.
While Kagadi has transformed significantly since its creation in 2016 into a fast-growing commercial hub in Western Uganda, it still faces socio-economic, infrastructural and administrative challenges.
