Kagadi District and Building tomorrow a community-powered organization have signed a Memorandum of Understanding that launches a five -year, renewable partnership aimed at improving the quality of Education in Kagadi District.
The agreement was signed today Monday, 23 February 2026, during an inception meeting by Assistant Resident District Commissioner Kagadi Edward Birungi, The Deputy Chief Administrative officer Kagadi Vincent Kyaligonza and Robert Sekadde the Country Director Building tomorrow at Kagadi community Hall in Kagadi ton council.
Among the core focus area include improving student learning outcomes, capacity building of School Management Committees (SMC) and Parent Teacher Association (PTA), Inclusive, quality education for all children among others.
Building Tomorrow is a community-powered organization that harnesses the potential of local change-makers to connect learners in East Africa with transformational education programs.
The Assistant Resident District Commissioner Kagadi Edward Birungi urged Building tomorrow officials to extend services as agreed in the Memorandum of understanding and pledged total support during the project implementation.
Vincent Ssemuga the Vice Chairperson Kagadi, urged stakeholder to, ensure monitoring of the project by addressing concerns before they escalate.
Vincent Kyaligonza Deputy Chief Administrative officer Kagadi, is optimistic that the project will ensure quality education in the District.
