A total of 22 Primary school pupils have been has flagged to represent Kagadi District in this year’s National kid’s athletics competitions under 12 and 14 boys and girls in Luwero District.
The function was held at the Kagadi district headquarters in Kagadi town council, Kagadi district.
The National kid’s athletics competitions are scheduled for Monday 8th May and end on 16th May 2023 in Luwero District.
The 22 best athletes were selected from various zones to represent the district at National primary kids Athletics during the district primary kids athletics competitions held on 19th/04/2023 at Kitegwa Primary school in Rutete town council
While presiding over the flagging off function, John Mugume the Sports officer Kagadi district is optimistic that pupils will pose a great challenge since they have been trained by game teachers.
He asked the Participants to have discipline if they are to register better results.
The Inspector of Schools Omukwenda Julius Alinda said besides class work it’s a government policy to engage pupils in co- Curricular activities in order to boost their talents.
