Kagadi
Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) officials have today Thursday 15/06/2023 held a one-day training with Principal Township officers, Sub county chiefs, Sub Accountants, Town treasurers and District Headquarter staff in Kagadi District in the District council Hall Kagadi town council.
The engagement targeting technical staff from 35 administrative units that make up Kagadi District aimed at enhancing skills of local governments employees and discussion on compliance issues regarding taxation.
The participants were oriented in various tax laws including Tax Amendments FY 2022-2023, Value Added Tax FY 2022-2023, Employment income FY 2022-2023 and Digital Tax Stamps (DTS).
